To mark the opening of Jamie Shaw’s solo show ‘Shadows’ – presented in conjunction with the Artists Residency Hotel as part of Brighton Fringe Festival – The Future Tense published the first ever print edition by the artist.

‘Until the Night is Over’ is a 4-colour screen print taken from the original painting of the same name. The painting was originally commissioned as the artwork for ‘Versions of Joanna’ – an album of Joanna Newsom covers for the benefit of Oxfam America, featuring singers such as Billy Bragg and Owen Pallett.

The print was developed with Clerkenwell-based Dave Brett, famous for his work with artists such as Ben Eine and Nigel Waymouth as well as art bookshop Magma.
